Tiny Houses have stunning designs, offer a simpler lifestyle, and promise financial freedom! However, figuring out how much to budget for and how your Tiny House will meet your needs and the whole process of buying a Tiny House can be a daunting journey.
Follow these fully guided 8 steps in the design and build process to buy your Aussie Tiny House.
Buying your Tiny House in 8 steps
1. First Contact Our Sales Development Representatives
The first step is for you to do initial research. Visit our website to see price points, available upgrades and delivery to your area. View our range of Tiny Houses and choose a model that appeals to you to begin the process.
Determine as much as you can about your ideal Tiny House, then connect with one of our Sales Development Representatives. Feel free to reach out to them directly on the phone or by completing our website contact form and they will call you to introduce you to our services and arrange your consultation.
If you are in the Sunshine Coast region, you can also book a visit here. We welcome visitors and enjoy sharing our passion for our Tiny Houses. We have a very active factory with at least 10 tinys on the go and also a few display homes for you to walk through.
2. Consultation With Our Specialists
At this Step, we’ll do a thorough analysis of your preliminary plans together. Manuela, Fabio or Steve from the sales team will discuss your plans and review designs that suit your location, aesthetic vision, and the practicalities of who’s going to be living in the Tiny House. We’ll take into account what external structures you’re thinking of for now or into the future and make sure the build fits the vision.
Consultations can be a 45-minute phone or video call or a site visit, depending on what suits you. Our doors are open. We’d love to show you the factory where the houses are built and the showroom where you can see the selection of finishes for customisation in Step 6.
We want you to feel like you’re building a million-dollar home and understand the value of your dream. You can rely on us to remind you every step of the way about what design decisions need to be made and when.
3. Design Meeting With Our In-House Architects And Designers
Once we’ve validated the model to begin with, we discuss alterations to our designs and any structural additions you may wish to include. We’ll help you with making the big decisions such as preferred roofline, floor plan, and window placements.
In this Step you’ll meet Jess or Richard, our designers, to ensure any upgrades or changes to the standard designs are architecturally sound.
4. Proposal and Plan
At this Step, we’ve prepared the proposal for your build. We’ll ensure you have a good understanding of the process, inclusions, time frame, and budget. This is where you can change your mind about any aspects of your plans and plug them in before we move ahead.
5. Quote and Contracts
At this stage, we provide a quote for your Tiny House project and exchange the contract. Your Tiny House is ordered and ready to begin building!
Our Operations Manager Thiago or a member from the team will be in touch with you as your build progresses to completion. Our operations team will send you images of each part of the build and at each stage and feel free to book another visit to the factory at any time in case you want to see how your build.
